Just One More Chapter

This book suffered from The Curse of the Dreaded Sequel to an AWESOME First Book of a series. I don't know exactly what went wrong, maybe it was all of the extraneous subplots that clogged up the storyline, but this book was a chore to get into and rather sluggish to finish. It got the rating it did because this male protagonist MC is one of my favorites and the writing along with the character development were great though the story was in no way comparable to White Cat. I'm seriously on the fence with regards to continuing on to book #3 which is really sad because White Cat was one amazingly underappreciated though awesomely executed literary gem. Oh Cassel how I love you so but I wish I could say the same about your latest escapades. To read on or not to read on, that is the question I now face
