Whenever you read a good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light.
I'm just trying to light up the world as much as I can one SciFi/paranormal/fantasy/space opera/time travel book at a time.
|I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I would like to thank the author for this wonderful opportunity but I fear that she won't like the outcome very much. This book was a tough read for me. The writing was OK but nothing spectacular. The pace was painfully slow and I thought of not finishing it at all because of my ever growing TBR list and the tortuous pace but I vowed to give an honest review and I didn't feel that I could make such a claim without reading through to the end. The good aspects of this book were that the plot was very original (high marks for that), which is increasingly harder to find, and there were a few unforeseen twists and turns which is always exciting to encounter. Overall it wasn't horrible but it was nothing spectacular. I don't think I will read on in the series|
