I'm just trying to light up the world as much as I can one SciFi/paranormal/fantasy/space opera/time travel book at a time.

I came upon this book in a roundabout way. I was offered a free copy of the second book in the series (Type2) and I found the premise of the series so interesting that I just had to have it, to start with book #1. I am SO thankful that I had because this book was AWESOME!! It has a very Divergent like feel in some respects, like a distant relative...a cousin perhaps, but it is on par if not better than its stereotyping relative. The nuances behind the whole ideology of Typology, as Alicia calls it, is so believable and beautiful that I could honestly see it as a viable possibility for our future The characters are rich and deep, easy to empathise with. I LOVED the naive MC Sophie as well as Noah and loathed her father and the rest of the Typology psychologists that revisited Nazi like personality type seperation, categorization and ultimately euthagenic implementation. The writing is great, the pace is perfect and the book is addictive! I am anxious to read book #2 and I feel lucky to be given the chance to read and review it for free. If you liked Divergent you're gonna want to check this one out
