Whenever you read a good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light.
I'm just trying to light up the world as much as I can one SciFi/paranormal/fantasy/space opera/time travel book at a time.
This is the second installment in the Black Magician trilogy. My husband and I read this before bed each night and let me tell you, this one kept putting us right to sleep. It was SLOW, verbose, and not much happened throughout. The writing was just as good as the first book but there was so much filler that I would have skimmed had I been reading this all by myself. The last two chapters were the most exciting and hopefully set us up nicely for the next book. All in all not the best and not the worst... simply MEH
